We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Job SummaryThe Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. You will have responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures and pass instruments to the surgeon and their assistants.
Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical equipment
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist with the transfer of patients to and from the operating room
- Provide support to the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
- National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
- Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
