Certified Nursing Assistant - $20/hour - Tuesday through Saturday 7am-3pm

Make a meaningful impact daily as a patient advocate delivering quality of life-enhancing services. In the role of a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will engage in hands-on nursing care, focusing on daily care requirements and personal hygiene.
  • Monitor the health status of individuals served and ensure high-quality services are delivered.
  • Provide assistance and/or supervision to individuals in daily living activities, personal care, and community/social integration.
  • Help maintain safe and quality support for individuals served.
  • Initiate emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Utilize equipment correctly and safely.
  • Report any hazardous conditions, equipment issues, accidents, or incidents to a supervisor.
  • Maintain up-to-date progress notes and other relevant documentation.
  • Assist with resident activity programs, including off-site outings and appointments.
  • Support household activities, including:
    • Keeping the residence tidy and clean.
    • Meal preparation and mealtime assistance.
    • Preparing rooms for new residents, obtaining necessary equipment and supplies.
    • Preparing residents for discharge.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training as required.
  • Uphold confidentiality and treat others with dignity and respect in all interactions.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Completion of a CNA certification program; Current CNA certification issued by the relevant state.
  • Preferred one year of CNA experience, ideally with medically complex patients.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certifications.
  • Effective communication skills with staff, residents, and families.
  • A reliable, responsible demeanor and a compassionate approach.
  • A commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
