Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Float Clinician I to join our team at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. As a key member of our healthcare delivery team, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients, including reproductive health services, primary care, and emergency contraception.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret medical and social histories of patients
  • Perform medical screening procedures and exams
  • Interpret laboratory data and order additional investigations as needed
  • Provide contraceptive methods, including self-administered options and injections
  • Manage emergency situations and provide medical consultation to clinic staff
  • Participate in staff meetings and provide training on current medical procedures
  • Contribute to achieving health center productivity goals
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited FNP or Primary Care PA program
  • Current State NP/PA license
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification
  • Ability to learn new skills and work cooperatively as a member of a healthcare delivery team
Requirements
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Availability to cover evening and Saturday clinics as needed
  • Experience using computer and mouse, with ability to learn new computer skills
