We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates of Chester County.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced nurse to work in a fast-paced surgical setting, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview patients to obtain comprehensive health histories, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Maintain up-to-date records, prepare oral reports, and contribute to the attainment of unit goals through effective communication and community relationships.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assemble equipment for clinical sessions while maintaining adequate supplies.
  • Clean and maintain clinical equipment, dispose of used supplies correctly, and assist in patient recovery and discharge.
Requirements:
  • A current state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • BLS certification is mandatory, with ACLS certification preferred or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
  • The ability to observe physical conditions, detect abnormalities, and record operations accurately and concisely.
  • Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to exercise tact, initiative, and good judgment.
  • Multitasking and prioritization skills, with experience handling intravenous medications.
