Job Summary

As a key member of our membership services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, promoting our programs and services, and ensuring a positive experience for all who visit our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process membership sales, renewals, and cancellations, as well as register members for programs and services.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, maintaining accurate records and balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Assist with special events and programs, including setup, registration, and cleanup.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to YMCA standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless communication and a positive member experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience, preferably in a membership-based organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and membership software.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
