**Salary Range**

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Specialist to join our team at Tacachale in Gainesville, FL. The salary range for this position is $59,774.96 - $65,651.66 per year, depending on experience.

**Job Description**

As a Registered Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating nursing services for residents in a facility for the developmentally disabled. Your expertise will include administering treatments, medications, and other care that requires professional nursing skills. You will work closely with physicians to assess and intervene as needed, participate in crisis intervention, and maintain accurate documentation.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A valid Florida Driver's License
  • A current Registered Nurse license
  • Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and bend for periods in excess of three hours
  • Ability to assist in lifting and transferring residents weighing more than 100 pounds, as needed
