Job Summary:

The LPN or CMA at Adams Memorial Hospital provides high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Perform clinical duties, such as administering injections and medications, dressing wounds and incisions, and assisting with minor surgery.
  • Conduct laboratory tests, record electrocardiograms, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, pre-certifying procedures, and handling referrals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including ordering supplies and restocking inventory.

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN license in the State of Indiana or valid CMA/RMA certification (can be obtained within 6 months of hire)
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience in the medical field, EMR, medical coding and billing
