Job Title: Concessions Cashier/Runner

Job Summary: We are seeking a Concessions Cashier/Runner to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Concessions Cashier/Runner, you will be responsible for performing cashiering and runner duties, including making transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. You will also perform general food service work, including expediting food to cashiers and maintaining sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.

• Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enter all sales into the POS to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Make change, accept declining balance cards, and other acceptable forms of payment; issue receipts to customers.
• Follow standard procedures for issuing refunds.
• Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Observe customer purchases in the line and differentiate between standard portions.
• Replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
• Keep food and supplies stocked.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
