Position Title: Program Security Representative (PSR) III

This role involves providing critical support to the Air Force (AF) Special Access Program (SAP) Security Support Services (SSS), which plays a vital role in overseeing enhanced National Security Objectives that align with AF SAP interests through comprehensive security operations and management.

The primary responsibility of the Program Security Representative is to deliver multi-disciplinary security support for various customer SAPs, ensuring effective analysis for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP activities on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold strict compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual and related directives.
  • Assist in formulating and implementing approved policies and procedures for the protection of SAP, SCI, and collateral information.
  • Provide ongoing security support, assessing procedures to identify gaps and recommending enhancements to security policies and systems.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and risks associated with testing, training, and operational activities.
  • Support the development and execution of the Operations Security program.
  • Offer oversight and assistance to contractors and subordinate facilities.
  • Conduct briefings for personnel at all levels on various security-related topics.
  • Perform and document compliance reviews of SAP facilities and follow-up assessments.
  • Monitor and report on corrective actions stemming from compliance reviews.
  • Ensure timely communication of relevant security matters to technical and management staff.
  • Investigate any incidents of loss or compromise of classified information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and damage assessments.
  • Collaborate with SAP security personnel to integrate lessons learned into the SAP security education and awareness program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (4 years).
  • Related experience includes:
    • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) contributing up to 3 years of experience.
    • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) contributing up to 5 years of experience.
    • Maximum equivalent experience for Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Certifications is capped at 5 years.
  • Prior active duty in the U.S. Air Force is advantageous.
