Job Summary:

The Environmental Operations department at Vail Resorts is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Environmental Agent. This role is responsible for assisting in coordinating and implementing waste recycling and compost programs, handling and transporting recyclable and compostable materials, and providing education to guests and employees on environmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement waste recycling and compost programs
  • Handle, sort, and transport recyclable and compostable materials
  • Repair and maintain recycling receptacles
  • Assist departments with trash removal in base areas
  • Provide education on recycling programs and environmental initiatives
  • Assist in implementing new environmental programs
  • Work with other departments to build cohesive working relationships
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to drive oversize trucks and operate vehicles in tight areas
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service skills
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Able to perform manual labor, lift 75 lbs, and handle or move 125lbs
