Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Schwan's Home Service. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient use of warehouse space.
  • Inventory Control: Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems, including tracking and reporting on stock levels, product movement, and storage conditions.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, including managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant safety protocols and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain coordination; 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
