Position Overview

The Travel Nurse RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized cardiac unit. This role requires a dedicated professional with a focus on patient outcomes and safety.

Certification Requirements
  • BCLS/ACLS certifications are mandatory.
  • NIH Stroke Certification is necessary for specific units.
  • AHA certifications are acceptable, including instructor/provider and RQI.
Job Details
  • Position: PCU Cardiac Step Down
  • Shift: 3x12's Nights
  • Estimated Patient Ratios: 1:3
Experience and Skills Required
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in a lower acuity cardiac PCU environment.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous cardiac care experience is advantageous.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of PCU experience is essential.
  • IV initiation and telemetry skills are required.
  • Experience with EPIC software is necessary.
Additional Information
  • Verification of state license is required within 30 days of commencement.
  • Travelers may renew ACLS and BLS certifications at the facility; instructions are available upon request.
  • Completion of a Residency Declaration Form is necessary for candidates utilizing a compact license.
  • Unit-specific competency examinations are mandatory.
  • Tech Cert Verification is preferred but not required.
