About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin. As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting maximum benefits of rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve rehabilitation goals
  • Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare teams to promote effective communication and swallowing strategies
  • Participate in performance improvement and program development activities to enhance patient outcomes and services
  • Contribute to budgetary planning and cost-effectiveness of services and programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Licensure in the state of practice
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
