Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to meet their respiratory care needs.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
