Summary:

VSA Resorts is seeking dedicated Full-time and Part-time Front Desk Agents to deliver exceptional service to our guests. The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in facilitating communication and coordinating guest needs with various departments to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction while executing specific front desk responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Delivering customer service and support to guests through various communication channels, including phone and in-person interactions.
  2. Ensuring a pleasant vacation experience from check-in to check-out, while informing guests about hotel policies and local attractions.
  3. Acting as a curb-side greeter and facilitating express check-in for arriving guests.
  4. Managing switchboard operations and relaying messages or incoming mail to guests as needed.
  5. Addressing guest inquiries, suggestions, and minor complaints, and following up with management as necessary.
  6. Processing reservation payments, deposits, and refunds, while confirming guest contact information.
  7. Reconciling shift activity reports and conducting key and folio audits.
  8. Enforcing hotel policies and procedures to maintain operational standards.
  9. Coordinating housekeeping and maintenance requests, ensuring timely follow-up with guests.
  10. Performing additional duties as assigned or as circumstances require.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred. Previous customer service experience is highly desirable. Proficiency in computer skills and effective verbal and written communication is required.

Physical Demands of this Position:

This position typically requires standing, talking, and hearing. Frequent walking, lifting, and handling of items is necessary, along with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Items exceeding 25 pounds should be handled with equipment or assistance from other employees.
