Position Overview for RN Surgical Telemetry Unit - Full Time Nights
This position entails delivering direct clinical care to patients. The RN will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing patient care on a shift-by-shift basis, as well as overseeing the care provided by assigned staff. The RN will collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintain clinical staff competency, and manage resources effectively in relation to patient care.
Qualifications for the RN Surgical Telemetry Unit - Full Time Nights:
The following qualifications are essential for candidates applying for this role:
Educational Requirements:
Associate's degree in Nursing is mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
Prior clinical experience will be assessed to determine suitability. A minimum of one year of telemetry experience is preferred. CCRN certification is also preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state of residence is required. If you hold an RN license from another Compact state, you must apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from your state of residence within 30 days.
American Heart Association BLS CPR certification is required. ACLS certification from the American Heart Association must be obtained within six months of hire for the Progressive Care Unit.
