Thomas Health - Thomas Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU). As a Cardiac Catheterization Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to post-op cardiac catheterization patients and overflow cardiac observation bed patients from the Emergency Department.
Job Requirements:- BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Experience in titrating Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone, and Dopamine is preferred
- Two to three years of intermediate experience in a CVU setting is preferred
- Travel experience is required
The CVU at Thomas Memorial Hospital is a 12-bed unit that provides care to post-op cardiac catheterization patients and overflow cardiac observation bed patients from the ED. The unit is open 7 days a week, including holidays, and requires rotational holiday coverage.
Benefits:- No call or standby requirement
- Floating to Med-Surg units as needed
- One PCT (C.N.A) for 12 patients
