Job OverviewWe're seeking a highly skilled Robotics Innovation Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you'll design, develop, and deploy advanced robotic systems that drive innovation and excellence in various domains.
Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per yearKey Responsibilities:- Design and Development: Design and develop robotic systems from scratch, integrating hardware and software components to create efficient and effective solutions.
- Autonomous Systems: Develop autonomous navigation systems, including SLAM, path planning, and obstacle avoidance algorithms to enable robots to operate in dynamic environments.
- Sensors and Actuators: Integrate sensors (LIDAR, cameras, IMUs) and actuators (motors, servos, hydraulic systems) into robotic systems to ensure accurate control and perception.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, and data scientists to design and integrate robotic systems into larger applications.
- Prototype and Test: Prototype robotic systems and conduct rigorous testing to evaluate performance, safety, and reliability, iterating on designs and algorithms as needed.
- Robotics Engineering Expertise: Strong knowledge of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and mechatronics.
- Programming and Simulation Tools: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and MATLAB, along with experience using robotic frameworks such as ROS and simulation tools like Gazebo or V-REP.
- Autonomous Systems Knowledge: Expertise in autonomous navigation, SLAM, and path planning algorithms, with experience working with robotic perception and decision-making in dynamic environments.
- Sensors and Actuators: Hands-on experience working with sensors and actuators, understanding how to integrate and calibrate sensors for accurate robotic control.
- Mechanical Design: Familiarity with CAD tools and mechanical design principles, able to collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software in robotic systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certifications or additional coursework in robotics, control systems, or mechanical design are a plus.
- 3+ Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience in robotics engineering, with hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying robotic systems.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience working with robotic hardware, sensors, and actuators, developing control algorithms for autonomous systems.
- Ai and Machine Learning: Experience with AI and machine learning integration into robotic systems is highly desirable.
