Position Overview:
As a CNC Grinder specializing in both internal and external grinding, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and CNC grinding machinery to achieve precise finish dimensions on intricate production and tooling components.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in the setup and operation of manual and CNC universal grinders
  • Availability to work any assigned shift, including off shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and geometric tolerances
  • Proficiency in CNC control, including editing speeds, feeds, tool offsets, and fixture offsets on various CNC grinding machines
  • Experience using measuring instruments such as dial bore gauges, indicator snap gauges, verniers, and .0001 micrometers
  • Capability to demonstrate CNC skills on a test piece
  • Ability to develop NC programs during setups using G & M codes
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to follow complex procedures
  • Knowledge of multi-axis grinding contouring, grinding wheel dressing, and grit/size selection to meet tight tolerances
  • Must be a United States Citizen
