Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at First City Recovery Center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop integrated summaries to identify problem areas that may affect treatment.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that effectively address patient issues and have clearly stated treatment goals and objectives.
  3. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews and demonstrate adequate preparation and understanding of patient issues, progress, strengths, and weaknesses.
  4. Lead and co-facilitate group therapy sessions in a manner that creates an atmosphere for self-disclosure and helps patients gain group process skills.
  5. Document patient progress and interventions in the medical record on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Two years of work experience in the mental health field.
  • Licensure and/or certification to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication, observation, and written skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.
  • Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program.
