At Great Wolf Resorts, the Outlet Cook plays a vital role in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality. The Outlet Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals for guests, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for excellence and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations in the kitchen, adhering to established procedures.
  • Prepare a variety of food items, including fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood, in accordance with recipes.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe specifications, adjusting flavors as necessary with guidance from the chef.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring all standards of presentation and service are met.
  • Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and replenish as needed.
  • Conduct routine checks on kitchen equipment, performing maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
  • Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Some high school education or equivalent.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in or willingness to pursue a culinary degree.
  • Previous experience in a cooking role.
  • Understanding of sanitation practices and the ability to maintain a clean cooking environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative spirit.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
