Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care Specialist

St Mary's Health System is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. This role requires a strong passion for delivering compassionate care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

Salary: $38,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will partner with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment. This involves providing direct and indirect care to residents, as well as supporting the development of individualized care plans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility needs
* Support residents with mealtime activities and hydration needs
* Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and progress

Requirements:

* Graduate of Maine State Board-approved CNA course
* Valid on the State of Maine CNA registry
* 1-3 years previous CNA experience preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills required
* Ability to work well within a team of other care providers
* Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week
