Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at The GIANT Company. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our retail store assets by investigating loss of merchandise, money, and property. You will work closely with the Asset Protection team and store team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to prevent loss and shrink within assigned districts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and resolve internal and external theft incidents
  • Monitor and investigate safety and security issues for stores in assigned areas
  • Tour stores daily to identify deficiencies and execute corrective action as necessary
  • Maintain awareness of high-risk areas to reduce/control merchandise losses
  • Review shrink reports and assist in reacting to issues and opportunities
  • Assist with preparation for NP inventories and attend NP inventories to assist with count audits and inventory paperwork
  • Conduct focus walks and follow-ups as necessary, including planning and executing training needs
  • Initiate service calls for locksmiths, keys, and cores, alarms, and CCTV
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Up to one year of related experience
  • Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to state and local jurisdictions
  • MS Office skills
