The Radiation Therapist is a critical member of our team at Medical Staffing Solutions, USA, responsible for applying ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist and following established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
- Observe and reassure patients during treatment and report unusual reactions to the physician.
- Maintain radiation dosage equipment settings and patient reactions records and files.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Requirements:
- ARRT certification
- AZ License
- BLS certification
- Varian experience (2 years minimum)
Work Environment:
This is a non-remote position, requiring on-site work at our medical facility.
