The Associate Counselor plays a vital role in our mission at Renewal Health Group. This position involves delivering therapeutic services and case management to clients and their families through a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Primary Duties:

  • Facilitate counseling sessions for individuals, groups, and families
  • Perform client evaluations and create personalized treatment strategies
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team
  • Recognize detrimental behaviors and provide necessary support
  • Assist clients in navigating their recovery journey
  • Document client progress and lead therapy sessions
  • Establish professional relationships with all stakeholders
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • State certification as a registered associate
  • Previous experience in mental health is advantageous
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Capability to maintain professional boundaries with clients

Hiring Prerequisites:

  1. Successful completion of background checks, TB testing, and drug screening
  2. Certification in First Aid and CPR
  3. Additional criteria for specific programs may apply
