Overview
Piramal Pharma Solutions is in search of a seasoned Product Development Specialist to spearhead the upgrade of our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our development processes transition smoothly onto the new ERP platform, collaborating with diverse teams across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct the upgrade of the SAP (S4Hana) system across several development divisions, encompassing configuration, testing, and deployment.
2. Engage with stakeholders to ascertain business needs and formulate a comprehensive project plan tailored to those requirements.
3. Create and implement bespoke solutions to integrate the ERP system with current development tools and platforms.
4. Design and execute testing protocols to validate the accuracy and integrity of data migration and system operations.
5. Collaborate with IT departments to guarantee seamless integration with existing infrastructure and systems.
6. Provide training and ongoing support to development teams regarding the new ERP system, facilitating a smooth transition.
7. Identify and resolve any technical challenges that may arise during the implementation phase.
8. Develop and maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices.
9. Monitor and communicate project progress, milestones, and challenges to relevant stakeholders.
10. Work with internal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience in a product development or scientific research setting, emphasizing process enhancement and technology integration.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying ERP systems or comparable software solutions.
- Strong comprehension of scientific research and development workflows, including laboratory operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication and project management abilities, with a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with GxP regulations (e.g., GMP, GLP, GDP) and industry standards (e.g., ISO).
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with specific ERP systems (SAP).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or data analytics (e.g., Certified Data Scientist).
