Goodwill Industries of the Summit is seeking an experienced Grounds and Janitorial Specialist to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our Hurricane Rest Area sites. This full-time position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintains the overall appearance of the rest area grounds, including cutting grass, removing litter, and shoveling snow.
  2. Operates various cleaning equipment, including mowers, snow blowers, and vacuums.
  3. Empties wastebaskets, ashtrays, and cleans sinks, commodes, and mirrors.
  4. Lifts, carries, and moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds, using judgment when handling heavier items.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior custodial experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Reliable transportation.
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary of $37,500 - $42,500 per year, based on experience, and includes benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, and opportunities for career advancement.
