About the Role

Owens Realty Services is a leading commercial brokerage, investment, management, and maintenance services company. We are seeking a skilled Custodian to join our team and contribute to the upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, elevators, and stairways in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
  • Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings.
  • Collect and dispose of recyclable and non-recyclable waste, and replace trash can liners.
  • Telephones should be periodically cleaned using germicidal and cleaner disinfectants.
  • Full vacuuming will be required in traffic areas and any visible debris on carpets.
  • Clean light switches, door handles, walls, tops of modular furniture, and blinds.
  • Clean and/or polish tables, benches, and chairs.
  • Remove cobwebs.
  • Secure job area with safety signs.
  • Lock and unlock doors and windows as necessary, and turn off lights when rooms are unoccupied.
  • Maintain confidentiality according to policy.
  • Report safety hazards to supervisor as appropriate.
  • Follow safety procedures, including PPE and other safety requirements based on the job.
  • Follow infection control practices, including hand washing techniques.
