At Amotec Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on sophisticated equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise in electronic maintenance and repair, as well as the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rebuild cathode plug assemblies and supports to ensure maximum reliability.
  • Rebuild H.V. stab connections for consistent operation.
  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance and cleaning of equipment at regular intervals.
  • Make major repairs and adjustments to equipment as requested by personnel.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies to support continuous operation.
  • Coordinate outside repairs and machining of equipment and components.
  • Assist with other maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a 2-year degree in trade school is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic maintenance and repair.
  • Machine experience and complex assembly experience are helpful.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and wear a respirator when required.
  • Prior Furnace Operator experience is a plus.

The salary range for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
