Job SummaryThis is a 13-week contract opportunity for a Certified Surgical Technologist to work in a dynamic operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aseptic technique, instrumentation, and sterile supply management.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room.
- Set up and prepare equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies as needed for assigned cases.
- Pass instruments and equipment to surgeons during procedures, adhering to strict sterile protocols.
- Pull cases as needed, breaking down equipment and supplies at the end of procedures.
- Assist with setting up the operating room and supplies for the next day's schedule.
- Be available for call on an assigned/scheduled basis as required by unit need.
- Graduate of an Accredited Allied Health Education Program.
- One year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- BLS - American Heart Association.
- Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
- Guaranteed hours for Travel Contracts.
- Preferred Booking Agreement for Local Contracts.
- Weekly Pay.
- Holiday Pay.
- Contract Security compared to a contract with an outside agency.
