Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a precise control network on construction sites for all trades and technologies.
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor submittals, including shop drawings, to ensure buildability and identify potential conflicts.
  • Provide guidance and training to rod persons and other crew members.
  • Identify the need for Requests for Information (RFIs) and facilitate their resolution.
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Project Team to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Engineer or Survey Crew Chief is preferred.
  • Proficiency in various software programs, including Autodesk, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Carlson.
  • Strong understanding of BIM principles and processes.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, lift materials weighing up to 70 lbs., and perform tasks in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid mathematical skills (algebra and trigonometry).
  • Basic knowledge of surveying principles and techniques.
