Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Bozeman Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound exams and procedures in an inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams and procedures in an inpatient setting
  • Assist radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures
  • Complete documentation of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
  • Perform ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures
  • Retrieve and review previous studies, reports, written orders, and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of ultrasound exams and procedures
Requirements
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in OB/GYN or abdominal/small parts or registry eligibility with certification within one year of hire
  • Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience or graduation from accredited ultrasound school
  • American Heart Association BLS within three months of hire
  • Previous experience and competencies including, but not limited to, the following exams: Portable studies, trauma (ED), NICU, L&D, OR, and CCU
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of post-graduation experience working in ultrasound
