About Us:

We are a prominent pharmacy service provider located in Southern California, specializing in a comprehensive range of pharmacy services such as Community Retail, Long-Term Care (LTC), and Specialty & Infusion Pharmacy.

We are seeking a full-time Lead Pharmacist to oversee operations at our Artesia location. The ideal candidate should possess experience in specialty or infusion pharmacy, particularly in audit and accreditation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and detail.
  • Supervise pharmacy support staff, including task assignments and performance evaluations.
  • Delegate pharmacy tasks to Pharmacists or Pharmacy Technicians as per their job descriptions.
  • Provide direct oversight to Pharmacy Technicians, ensuring prescriptions are verified and the final product is checked before dispensing.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for delivering high-quality, cost-effective pharmacy services.
  • Expected to prepare IV medications in a sterile environment, handle incoming calls, and manage order preparations for delivery.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy and clean room environment is required.
  • Familiarity with standards established by USP is essential.
  • Experience in managing the accreditation process, with our accreditation by NABP for both DMEPOS and Home Infusion.
