Shift:
Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Sign-On Bonus:
$10,000 for eligible new hires
About the Special Care Unit:
Our unit is designed for patients transitioning from intensive care, featuring:
• 17 private patient rooms
• Consistent nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 and 1:4
• A collaborative team environment that values camaraderie
We welcome experienced critical care and medical-surgical nurses, offering training for those new to stepdown care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiac issues, vascular conditions, and diabetic complications.
• Collaborate with physicians and care managers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to assess cardiac and respiratory conditions.
• Administer IV medications and vasoactive treatments.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and ongoing health management.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient hospital nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Registered Nurse licensure in Washington State.
