About the Role

Apple is seeking a skilled Power Management Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of experienced power management software engineers. This role involves working cross-functionally with system architects, electrical engineers, battery engineers, system software engineers, and other functional software engineering teams.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading teams, managing multiple projects, and navigating conflicting priorities. They will also be able to set expectations with software, silicon, and hardware stakeholders and balance high-quality product delivery under tight schedules while fostering long-term innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of experienced power management software engineers
  • Work cross-functionally with system architects, electrical engineers, battery engineers, system software engineers, and other functional software engineering teams
  • Manage multiple challenging projects while handling conflicting priorities
  • Set expectations with software, silicon, and hardware stakeholders
  • Balance high-quality product delivery under tight schedules while fostering long-term innovation
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience leading a systems software, low-level driver, or firmware development team
  • Strong embedded software engineering skills
  • Demonstrated innovative, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent collaborative skills including written and verbal communication
  • A history of motivating teams to innovate and meet ambitious goals
