Job Overview

As a key member of the Apex Healthcare Staffing team, the Operations Manager will play a vital role in driving daily operations, team engagement, and client satisfaction. This role involves managing client services, building strong community relationships, and ensuring operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

People & Culture

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of administrative staff and caregivers.
  • Create an inclusive and positive office culture, delivering exceptional experiences for both employees and clients.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and retention efforts to ensure top-quality service delivery.
  • Develop a pipeline of future leaders within the organization.

Operations & Communication

  • Manage daily operations, including policy implementation, care coordination, and client services.
  • Maintain written policies for all agency operations, including services, emergency care, and personnel standards.
  • Facilitate communication between departments, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Engage with internal teams and external partners, including scheduling software, phone service providers, and healthcare organizations.

Sales & Marketing

  • Collaborate with External Care Coordinators to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that drive growth.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations, positioning us as the preferred home health partner.
  • Participate in community events to increase brand awareness and build a local network of professional referrals.

Finance & Business Growth

  • Oversee financial performance by reviewing sales activities, P&L reports, KPIs, and other vital metrics.
  • Develop strategies to enhance profitability, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate billing, payroll, and accounts receivable management.

Requirements:

  • Must have healthcare experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for team development and client satisfaction.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or business development is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions to achieve business growth.
