Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans based on students' goals and needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' participation and engagement in academic and daily activities.
- Provide direct intervention, including therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents on strategies to promote optimal student performance and independence.
- Stay updated with current research, trends, and best practices in the field of occupational therapy.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones, sensory integration techniques, and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
