We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Centers for Advanced Urology. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring accurate treatment administration.
Responsibilities:
- Treatment Administration: Review and administer daily prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients with precision and efficiency.
- Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient service, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintenance and Quality Control: Prepare equipment, set parameters, and activate treatment units while adhering to safety protocols.
- Documentation and Reporting: Record charges, machine downtime, and fault reports accurately.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and medical professionals to ensure seamless operations and patient satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field certified by ARRT.
- 1+ year of experience in radiation therapy or equivalent combination of education and training.
- AART and ASRT certification required; BLS certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
