Job Title: Electrical Vehicle Charging Solutions Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Vehicle Charging Solutions Specialist to join our team at Delta Electronics Americas. As a key member of our sales and product management team, you will be responsible for interpreting EV charging requirements and creating proposals for customers that include hardware, EMS software, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer's application requirements and assist Sales and Product Management to create proposals including hardware, software, and services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Front-end Sales, Engineers both locally and in Asia, Product Managers, Service support team, and factory as needed to ensure customers requirements are met.
  • Provide technical customer interface and support during pre and post award activities.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge relevant to EVSE products to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Benchmark current and future solutions against other market offerings.
  • Provide onsite customer support and training as needed.
  • Ability to perform system level testing and user operability testing for AC & DC chargers at our Plano, TX testing lab to ensure compliance to industry standards.
  • Knowledge of OCCP Protocols.

5+ years of work experience in EV charging industry or power electronics

• Engineering and Technology; knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production.


• Mechanical; knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.


• Computers and Electronics; knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.


• Demonstrate advance proficiency with computer software to include MS Office & e-mail.

General skills (language, IT, etc.):

Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
