We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dosimetrist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy.

**Job Summary**

Under limited supervision, performs as Staff Dosimetrist in providing comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in physics or related fields; or graduation from an approved Medical Dosimetry Program through the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD).

Certification by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) within 2 years of hire date is required. CPR Certification for Health Care Professionals is also mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
  • Works closely with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintains accurate records and documents patient information, treatment plans, and dosages.
  • Collaborates with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize patient care.

Requirements:
