Job Summary

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing the standard-fare breakfast each morning according to the specific brand's policies and procedures. This role requires attention to detail, friendly service, cost control, and waste management. Estimated Salary: $12-$15 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all standard hotel varieties of coffee.
  • Stock coffee stations with creamers, sugar options, cups, lids, stirrers, and napkins.
  • Prepare foods for the 'Hot Zone' including heating cooked frozen foods in a convection oven and placing them in buffet line chafing dishes.
  • Set up 'Baked Zone' with muffins, Danish, and breads.
  • Greet guests during frequent visits to the eating area.
  • Monitor food levels and refresh as necessary, clear and clean breakfast dishes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in hotel/restaurant with major brands preferred.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional people skills: ability to train others quickly and efficiently.
  • Proficient with inventory control and waste management.
  • Professional communication skills both verbal and written (English Proficiency).
