Job Summary

SWT Total Car Care is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. As a service technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and services on all incoming units, using your mechanical expertise and product knowledge to meet the service and repair needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire replacements, and brake servicing.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct safety inspections and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and offering advice on maintenance.
  • Thoroughly communicate and work closely with all departments.
  • Follow set processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years experience
  • Must be insurable and have your own tools
  • Diagnostic & Mechanical skills
  • ASE and manufacturer certification desired, but not necessary.
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Must have a good attitude, attention to detail, professionalism, reliability, punctuality, motivated, basic people skills, problem-solving ability, ability to follow directions, work ethic, ability to use technology
