Job Description:

In this role as a Store Associate, you will be responsible for creating a secure shopping environment and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the store team to identify and report theft incidents and provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs.

Salary: $11.50 - $11.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a secure shopping environment by maintaining a professional appearance, standing at the front of the store, and greeting every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting.
  • Possess a knowledge mastery of top shortage areas and support programs aimed at theft reduction, and effectively communicate information about theft prevention during store rallies.
  • Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates, ensuring adherence to safety and security standards.
  • Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes, and role-model safety as a top priority.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, AP/LP, or Operations is preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and review, analyze and comprehend business trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership skills that support fostering productive business relationships.
