Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Great River Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional service to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
  • Effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
  • Provide high-quality care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, pediatric, and telemetry patient populations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current and active state licensure by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
  • Current health-related experience within the past five years.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, and Mandatory Reporter certification or completion within six months of hire.
