Position Summary

Lewis-Clark State College seeks a highly motivated individual to fill the Custodian position. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clean and maintain buildings, including sweeping, stripping, sealing, and finishing floors.
  2. Operate heavy-duty equipment such as snow blowers, hysters, airlift platforms, dollies, and carts.
  3. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing belts, brushes, and bearings in power equipment.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to perform duties associated with commercial cleaning, including operating industrial-type cleaning equipment.
  • Able to lift heavy objects, move furniture, and operate cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
