Warehouse Associate Position:

Are you eager to develop your expertise in automotive parts? NAPA Auto Parts is looking for a dedicated Stock Associate to enhance our professional team.

The Stock Team is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes scanning, sorting, and shelving new inventory, as well as preparing outbound freight for delivery. Additionally, they ensure the retail showroom is well-stocked and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate through aisles and shelves efficiently.
  • Maintain a strong memory for part numbers and line codes.
  • Lift items weighing up to 60 lbs as required.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as hand trucks and forklifts safely.
  • Assist colleagues in keeping the workspace tidy and organized.
  • Ensure accurate loading of parts onto the correct delivery vehicles.
  • Prepare products on pallets, secure them with shrink wrap, and load onto trucks.
  • Maintain a clean work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Prepare stock orders for loading as necessary.
  • Handle large components and prepare them for dispatch.
  • Support the staging of merchandise for shipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Forklift certification is available.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to recognize and remember letters and numbers both visually and audibly.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
