Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, efficient care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography and cardiac catheterization.
  • Operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment, such as CT and MRI scanners.
  • Prepare and circulate within the procedure room, procuring all necessary equipment for procedures.
  • Assess patients for factors that may indicate or contraindicate procedures, such as medications or insufficient patient preparation.
  • Verify clinical information according to departmental policies.
  • Administer intravascular contrast media and medication according to protocol.
  • Document diagnostic and interventional treatment and patient data in the appropriate records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in radiology.
  • ARRT registered or ARRT registry eligible or credentialed by RCIS.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field, preferred.
