Nursing - NICU Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Travel NICU RN to join our team at American Family Children's Hospital.
Job Summary:
The Travel NICU RN will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns, infants, and their families in our state-of-the-art, level IV NICU.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate a holistic plan of care for patients and families.
- Provide care for infants requiring advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including medical and surgical complexities.
- Work closely with neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, pediatric surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in NICU nursing.
- Compact license or WI license required.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Ability to work evening/night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and weekend rotations.
- 36 hours per week.
