Job Summary

As a Senior Software Developer, this position will be responsible for the complete development lifecycle of backend databases through front-end user interfaces across the organization. Key responsibilities include software development, database design, business intelligence, analytics, services/micro-services, and consideration of cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement software solutions using modern web-based frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Design and implement databases using SQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Redis, and MongoDB.
  • Develop and implement APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
  • Develop and implement automated testing frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Support automation and other manufacturing plant initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role with comparable skill requirements.
  • Experience in modern web-based frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Proficient with desktop development platforms such as Microsoft.NET.
  • Strong background in business intelligence, analytics, SQL databases, and modern NoSQL databases.
  • Solid experience with cloud providers such as AWS and Azure.
  • Familiar with configuring and managing a web server instance, such as Apache.
  • Experience with web services and microservice architectures.
  • Experience with Agile or similar project management methodology.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, NUnit, etc.
  • Familiar with hardware and network concepts.
  • Strong self-initiative and research abilities.
  • Highly skilled in problem-solving.
