Job Summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Correctional Officer to provide security, care, and direct supervision of inmates/residents in a correctional facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining order and security, while also providing a safe and supportive environment for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility
  • Work any shift, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Perform security checks and patrols to ensure the safety of inmates and staff
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide direct supervision and support to inmates during meals, recreation, and other activities
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and secure environment
Requirements
